Getting Started

Welcome to Fleet Pilot

Learn how Fleet Pilot automates your fleet compliance and document renewals.

Fleet Pilot is an intelligent, high-performance vehicle compliance and document management platform designed for fleet managers, logistics companies, and individual vehicle owners. By integrating Government database queries (NIC VAHAN) with client-side OCR engines, Fleet Pilot automates document audits, tracks expiration periods, and sends automated warning alerts to captains and administrators.

Key Value Proposition

Logistics fleets lose thousands of billing hours and face heavy penalties due to expired permits, invalid insurance policies, and forgotten pollution checks (PUC). Fleet Pilot eliminates manual tracking sheets, replacing them with a secure, automated monitoring loop that ensures compliance across 100% of your fleet.

Core Workflow

STEP 01

Register Vehicle

Add plate details to trigger the initial background scan against public registers.

STEP 02

Validate Documents

Upload scans to verify details using on-device OCR or pull metadata directly via VAHAN sync.

STEP 03

Alerts & Renew

Receive WhatsApp/SMS alerts, track statuses on dashboard, and pay renewals.

Getting Started

Quick Start Guide

Get your fleet configured and compliant in under 5 minutes.

Get your fleet dashboard up and running in a few simple steps.

1. Register and Select a Workspace

Sign up using your mobile number or Google account. On your first login, configure your organization details. You can assign default roles (Fleet Admin or Operator) that govern data mutation permissions.

2. Adding Your First Vehicle

Navigate to the Vehicles panel, click "Add Vehicle", and enter the registration number. The system validates the format using regex patterns for Indian states (e.g., KA-51-ME-1234) and pulls core metadata from regional registries.

3. Configure Alert Broadcasts

Add vehicle captains (drivers) with their mobile contact numbers. Click the Notification Settings toggle to select whether alerts should go via Web Push, direct SMS (AWS SNS), or WhatsApp templates.

Crucial Step

To test the SMS/WhatsApp system during onboarding, make sure the assigned captain numbers have opted in or are registered on your organization's verified test list to receive transactional SMS packages.
